We had been renovating our machines in the method of improving the problems of the previous year. Our former car was very high-performance. That had no major faults. What should we do next? --- At last we set two improvement targets.
1. Remodeling the chassis :
To reduce weight, of course. We wanted to improve appearance, too. Everyone asked the same question; "Why didn't you finish it up more neatly?" The surface of the chassis was far from smooth.
2.Changing the motor:
We have used Unique's motor for years. We felt that it was too old to get a higher placing in races. So we decided to install NGM's wheel-in motor. It would cut a loss caused by chain.
